Freeman Delivers Keynote Address at Arkansas IT Conference

Hot Springs, Ark. – Zycron Founder and Executive Chairman Darrell S. Freeman will deliver the keynote address at the 28th Annual Conference for Arkansas Users of Telecommunications and Information Systems Wednesday, May 18.

Freeman will address America’s position on a global scale regarding education, as well as specific challenges facing the state of Arkansas. He will encourage individual states (and the nation as a whole) to renew their commitment to education, which he believes is the key to global competitiveness.

Zycron is the platinum sponsor for the conference and the theme is “Improving Tomorrow’s Generation Today.” The discussion will focus on both education and economic development in the state of Arkansas. Panel discussions and student project presentations will take place throughout the conference, which will be held May 18 – 20, in Hot Springs, Ark.

The AUTIS mission is to promote the advancement of IT in Arkansas. Its annual conference is a statewide gathering of IT business and academic leaders, and key influencers in the community, including: Jay Chesshir, CCE, President & CEO of Little Rock Chamber of Commerce; Claire Bailey, State Technology Officer and Director DIS; professors and staff from the University of Central Arkansas; Shane Broadway, Department of Higher Education Interim Director; Rep. The AUTIS membership will also build back packs for school children and present them to Reverend Hezekiah Stewart, Executive Director of Watershed Human and Community Development Agency.
